    Lake Norman to host mooresville Thursday night; JV game 4:00 VARSITY @ 7:00. Should be a great night for some baseball between two good teams....

    Moor/LKN Showdown

    Lake Norman beat Mooresville 10-0. Score not indictive of game. Close through four, Mooresville allowed it to get away late. Aa. Meadows started for Mooresville and was good, not at his best.

    Lomo was typical Lomo, and they hit it. Right now, best team in NPC, with record to prove it. (8-0, 11-1, winners of 10 straight.

    Lefty Senior ace Nick Lomoscola(catawba 2009) went the full 6 innings while allowing no runs. and no walks i think dont no k's/

    Northwest Cabarrus over Statesville

    The Northwest Cabarrus baseball team beat Statesville 9-3 Thursday in North Piedmont Conference play.
    Winning pitcher Graham Lawing went four innings, giving up three hits and striking out three.
    Austin Noyes and Kevin Hamilton relieved.
    Jordan Phillips had three hits and two RBI and Corey Seager added two hits and two RBI for Northwest (4-7, 3-5).

    Yes Lake Norman is playing great baseball right now. Mooresville must regroup and get ready to play a tough Carson team that has already beat them once this season.
