    LKN vs Mooresville postponed until Tuesday

    Senior Night and Preston Loyd Night have been postponed until Tuesday evening. JV at 4, Varsity at 7. If you can't make it, listen to the game, as always, on 1350AM Whip Radio.

    Lake Norman 3 Mooresville 0

    Both teams used multiple pitchers to get some work before playoffs.
    Lake Norman started lamo who threw 2 then scottie williams who threw 2 followed by ross whitley who also went 2 and was closed by taylor thurber for the 7th.

    Keith little started for mooresville relieved by brett compton with jeffrey mason to finish.


    Offensively
    LKN
    Jordan farrel hit a 2 run homerun.
    Eric Manser, Nick Keith,Tyler Lewis, Nick lomascolo all had 1 hit.

    MOORESVILLE
    Dylan West, Jacob Mays, Aaron Meadows all had 1 hit.


    Lake Norman finishes season 20-2 (17-1 in conference) and are now 0-0 as they head in to their opening playoff matchup on friday.

    Carson/ West Rowan game

    Game was very sloppy tonight and West definitely did not perform the way they have been. Carson came to play and credit them for showing up early. West got back into the game after trailing 10-0. Lots of dropped flyballs in the outfield tonight by both teams. Probably about 7 errors in the game total. Freshman Matt Miller started for the Falcons and was knocked around pretty good.

    Interesting tidbit: Nic Glass (Carson) was ejected after striking the umpire accidently after the batter had called time and time was granted after Glass had made his wind-up. Glass plunked the umpire and was promptly asked to be removed from the contest. Very ridculous call by the ump as Glass obviosly didn't mean to hit the umpire. I don't know what the umpire was thinking.

    Wow, maybe we should send that umpire back home? How can you eject a kid for that? I had to read it a couple of times looking for the "lol JK!" part, however needless to say it wasn't found.

    Send this one to Tracy on Saturday Night Live for his segment, Really?

    lol @ the ump, maybe next time he wont be so eager to grant time while the pitcher is in his windup. bad deal for the kid though, he should not have been tossed.
