My Lord we could talk 7 more pages on predictions,,,,,,, if the game is at Staton Field, I think I owe someone from Mooresville a hotdog?

    Should be a great game.

Btw, to travis or anyone else, any word on when Shive will begin pitching again?

shive is supposed to start getting some relief innings in next week. his recovery has been great. he is throwing his fastball in the mid 80s and his changeup looks good also. he has just started working in his curveball in the bullpen.

Anyword on who is pitching for East today against Carson? Carson seems to be playing with a purpose (4-0) after the transfer of Shepherd.

I would think that Cody Laws would get the start. He only throw 1 inning earlier in the week. I hope we will get to see a good game tonight, but this will be Carson's hardess game yet. Does anyone have any idea on who Carson will start on the mound.

LKN pulls out a close one.

    LKN 6 West Iredell 5

LKN came out of the gate flat footed. were down 4-1 through 6 innings. Tyler Lewis(2010) Started on the hill going 3 innings surrendering 2 hits and 2 walks. He gave up 4 unearned runs on a few errors here and there. He was relieved by Ross Whitley(2009 Catawba signee) who threw the final 4 innings surrendering 1 unearned run and 1 walk.

Sam Laws started for West Iredell he went 6 1/3 innings of work before running out of gas. He had LKN off balance all night.... They finally got to him in the top of the 7th when LKN started a rally scoring 5 runs.

LKN came through when they needed it and showed they wouldnt give up as West Iredell had to go through 3 pitchers in the top of the 7th.

    Great game!

LKN now (6-1) 3-0 in conference
