    A very tight 3-2 game until NWC broke it open in the 4th on an absolute bomb of a grand slam off the bat of Jerrod "The Beast" Faggart. Mooresville took an early 2-0 lead after starter Ryan Overcash was hit on the hand by a line drive hit by Seth Rhyne in the 1st inning (x-rays were negative). Kyle Seager quickly erased the deficit on a low pitch that appeared to be well out of the strike zone for a 3-run shot to right. Robby Gurley (7-2) picked up the win in this emergency appearance.

    Tomorrow night's champ wins a chance to go to #1 Ragsdale next Tuesday. :thud:
