    Nice facility, nice fields..

Nice tournament, nice facilty, nice fields, great games! Fun all around!
    NSA doing better all around!
One suggestion to the facility: next tournament offer shuttles from parking lot to fields and from fields to concession and bathrooms! WoW what a haul and in that heat, you needed to pack water for the trip! Great weekend of ball though!

That's Chasiti Falls from Kings Mtn. sliding. The ump called her out, even though one of our fans said the catcher lost the ball, then gathered it. I couldn't see the ball, nor can you in this picture.

Now, the real question is, the catcher above that (Brittany Harrell from Freedom) appears to have applied the tag, but this runner was called safe. It was a backbreaker for us.

Anyway, we had to play the Sting in the first round, and they were probably the best all around team we have ever played. They did not have dominant pitching, but they sure can hit. No question that they would go on to win the thing. We had some chances, but they are really good! They are off to Florida next. I really like their coach, if anybody has his phone number or e-mail, please PM me.

    Thanks!

    She's Safe

Regarding the catcher from Freedom and the tag on the runner if you will look closely at the shadows you can see the runners shadow and the shadow of the catcher and her glove. You can see the dirt in between the glove and the runner and see that the glove was not touching the runner.

Good observation of the photo but could the tag have already been made before the shot?
