What about having a ASA or NSA World Series tourney on TV like the
Little League WS in PA. Just a thought. :idee: What does the board think? It may not fly but then again who knows.......... In order for good umps to get to this level, he/she is then graded on the whole year by his/her performance during the season. Just like MLB or College Umps.....

My understanding is that EPSN carried the LL 12U Softball series only because LL required it as part of the deal for carrying LL Baseball.

Let's face it, Softball is not viewed as a revenue sport by nearly anybody.

I was encouraged to see ESPN/ESPNU carry the World Cup of Softball and hope that they continue to show case high end softball games. I also understand that some of the July 4th tournament was carried by a regional sports network in the Rocky Mountain region. Maybe things are getting better, but there's a long row to hoe.
