NSA vs. WFC

    The biggest difference...

    that I have seen in these organizations is the attendance of college coaches. Having a DD that has played in tournaments sponsored by all of them, the largest number of coaches seem to attend the ASA tournaments.

    I think that they all do a great job and provide nice facilities, good umpires and competitive atmospheres. My young "local" 12U team plays primarily USFA because the tournaments are close and the competition fits their skill level. We are on the outer banks of NC and with gas prices the way that they are, we have to try to stay as close to home as possible!

    makes sense to me cougarcoach, transportation is a killer this year. i agree, asa seems to draw the most college coaches.

    I don't make any claims to any level of expertise......but I know from what I have observed over the past 3 or 4 years, ASA competition sets the standard. It is amazing the quality of individual players. However, the assembly of team talent taking the field in ASA tournaments is mind boggling. JMHO

    It doesn't matter to me what the sanction. I just love to see a good softball game.
