NSA World Series Feedback

Lets get some comments going on the NSA World Series.

What teams were impressive? Were the facilities at your location(s) what you would expect for a World Series? Were your umpires ok? Were the logistics and administration of the event ok? Any problems or positive experiences? What could be done to improve the event?

IN Shockwaves.....10u and 12u
Magic(NC), GA Blitz, Philly's Wizards, those Alabama Titans and maybe them Dusters in 12u

SC Flames,Ann Arbor,MI GOLD, those Lady Blue thunder Gals in Pink, the INDY Tradition and the DOOM.....18u

lack of water on the fields and the lack of packing the soil till thursday was alittle irratitating but no problem.

world series is just a eastern regional and adequate. most of the out of towners i spoke with (some are ole timers too) love the set-up with the WS here in NC/SC and the AREA they Might have to travel during the Week!!

admin and logistic worked out again just fine for our 18u team and as always, the directors at each field i visited were very helpful and willing to assist in anyway possible.

to improve the tournament: Provide WATER in the dugouts in one form or the other!

going to the Championship Games Saturday??

 

I have been able to get to just one game so far this World Series. I was at a game at Nivens Park. The only problem I seen was that the scoreboards were not being used. I certainly hope this is not the case today in Rock Hill.
