Big win for Foard last night at South Caldwell aswell as a big win for Watauga over Alexander Central. Does anyone have the conference standings and records?

    Saint 2 West Rowan 4 - 13 Innings

Heartbreaking non-conference loss for the Indians Friday night. They had quite few chances to put runs on the board and the ball kept finding the Falcon's gloves for out #3. Starter Josh Cline (7 innings) and Colton Allison (6 relief innings) combined to strike out 23 West Rowan batters in the game keeping them off balance for the entire night. 2 runs (1 unearned) in the first and 2 unearned runs in the top of the 13th cost Saint big time.

    LP - Colton Allison (6 innings in relief, 1 hit, 15 K)

    Saint next week
    at Watauga Tuesday
    at South Caldwell Friday

    Hickory 2
    Watauga 0

It was a pitcher's duel last night-Robert Whaley for Hickory and Jake Watts for Watauga. Both pitchers were hitting their spots and had good defense behind them. Whaley and Watts both had 10k's and gave up 5 hits. Hickory was fortunate to catch a few breaks and get out of some tough jams.

Hickory at South Caldwell tonight definitely should be interesting! Both teams are coming off big wins and have their aces going tonight. Poole for Hickory and Hatton for SC. What is everyones opinion on this conference up to now. It seems like everyone is bunched up and there is no clear favorite. Thoughts?

I agree it is a cluttered race at the halfway point (after tonight) I think 2 surprises are FTF and Alexander. Foard is doing well, very scrappy ballteam. Alexander not doing well and not showing the kind of fight that they usually do. Should be exciting 2nd half.
