    Mcdowell 0
    8 innings
    Great game, Mcdowell came to play but AC didn't.
    I think Mcdowell had a no no until the 8th and solid back to back hits won the game.
    Good luck to both teams in the state playoffs..

    This was my favorite response I'll have to admitt. I tried to thank you guys earlier, but the computer was not behaving. Anyway, great directions, found it with no problem. Enjoyed the game. Good luck to everyone in the state's. Play safe!

    congrats to achs and mcdowell! what a nail bitter!! ac just didnt hit it , but when they did it was right at some one. the def. was great for the cougars!!!chapman was great a short and poarch picked off a runner at 1st that would have scored,(next 2 got hits!!) laxton tossed 2 shut outs!!!ac has to turn it up tuesday in round 1 of the playoffs!!!!

    What an amazing Conference Championship Game last night...you girls keep putting out performances like that and you'll have me hooked as a big-time softball fan. I thought both teams performed really well. Laxton while she did give up some hits, there were just as many times where the McDowell batters were fooled. And as far as the McDowell pitching goes, you can't ask for much more than what Pendley and Brown gave on the mound. McDowell had a grand opportunity in the 6th to put up a run and force the pressure onto Alexander Central but couldn't come through.

    Good luck to all the teams in the NW4A next week in the playoffs...
