I assume Brown (#15) will be the starting pitcher because she hasn't started since the East Burke game last week. Watch out for Wallace at the plate (#22), she can really smash the ball. Overall I think McDowell has a bunch of solid players on the field.

    Alexander vs Ardrey Kell
Haven't seen Ardrey Kell, just know Alexander is strong with good pitching. It will take a good effort to beat AC.

    Freedom vs Providence
Freedom is very strong offensively and defensively. Pitcher has thrown well. Haven't seen Providence, but I do know Cori Katakozinos, and am looking forward to seeing her play. Freedom has the ability to really pounce, so if it stays close, then that's a different story.

    McDowell @ East Gaston
I have seen both these teams, and I think McDowell is stronger overall, with more sheer number of strong players. They will need to hit though, as Primm has the ability to shut down a team. The winning team needs 5 or 6 runs here in MHO.

Watauga @ Harding - Watauga (Basketball season ended long ago).

AC Reynolds @ Crest - Haven't seen ACR, but Lefty has to be sharp, with good control. Crest hitters will have to produce. Again, I think 5 or 6 runs wins this one. Check out the freshman shortstop for Crest. Go Kendyl!

ladiesbballfan, I've seen Reynolds once this season...they're a scrappy bunch of kids but their offense isn't the most powerful in the world. They got a couple of their basketball players playing softball. My guess is that this will be a low-scoring game.

I have watched AK Prov And Freedom. Three good teams and I have only seen the JV at AC But I know they always have a strong program. They will both be good games to watch, wish I could be there,

AK has alot of pop in there lineup and have been hitting well against some good pitching all season. and with K.L. on the rubber they can beat the best. Dont under estimate them.

Providence has two strong pitchers that are able to shut down any lineup in the region. Good hitting top to bottom and pretty darn good on "D" also.
I can say the same for Freedom and with it being in there house its a tough one to bet against But I still gotta go with the SW4A girls.
The freedom vs Prov. Game is sure to be a dogfight to the end.
Best of luck to all four teams

I was actually referring to Harding with my statement, but I was afraid you guys might take it that way.
