    No...three from East Burke and three from McDowell made it. Same with the boys, three from Watauga and three from McDowell.

    I bet Ali will be "keyed" up that she didn't make the all tournament team!

    I don't think there's a clear protocol for the selection process,seems host school has some leeway and involves coaches and sometimes media. It is not normal for all players to come from 2 teams but could be warranted.
    U have to remember that FHS and ACR's 1 win in tourney was at home and no one with a vote saw any of that- I think Ford had 42 for 2 tourney games but again the process is what it is.
    I did hear from a coach at the tourney -they had been told - Ford was the top Vote getter in all-conf voting (most tallied pts from coaches) but Wash. was given POY.
    The list should be out soon but I doubt there's any suprises

    Do you really think it matters?

    So who was the on the all-tournament team in 1997? Bet no one remembers without looking it up so i seriously doubt she is laying awake at night worrying about it. I haven't figured out why people crack on players without even really knowing them. Even IF you knew her she is still just a 16 yr old thats just happens to be one of the best players to come out of this area. If you don't like the way a player plays thats one thing but to make a joke of them not getting a n award that just shows how little some people have grown up.

    I don't think anyone is cracking on Ali because she failed to make the all conference team. The key and camera references are due to a little incident that happened in the Freedom parking lot last week involving Surratt and Ford.
