    They were Jim Sziksia,AC Reynolds AD,Levell Hall,Watauga High AD and Tom Harper,Alexander Central AD.It appears the local school board underestimated the popularity of Lloyd Church. I believe they thought they could quietly make Coach Church go away. I hope the public display that happened Monday night will kill this issue.

    MQueen68,Great to see you on our board. I guess you know this board first broke the news about the future of Coach Church being in doubt before any other.It will be great to have someone with your prep sport knowledge on the board. You know Bigdan and he does a great job keeping this a good board. I look foward to reading your comments.

    I heard today that the board will meet friday at noon to vote on Church. That is such a convenient time for everyone. Can anyone confirm this meeting for friday.

    they will meet friday at noon. there will most likely be a vote provided all members are present. that's what i understand is the case at this point.

    Why vote at noon ?

    I can't believe this board would hold such an important meeting in the middle of the day. I guess it really doesn't matter because they don't seem interested in what the people want anyway.

    Yeah, that is pretty awesome(sarcasm). The man in question would have a hard time being there unless school is out there or it is his planning or something. That really seems like it is an under-handed way of doing things but then again I really don't know the whole story. Are they actually voting on whether or not to fire him?

    The only reason they are doing this at that time of day is so no one will be there when they vote. Then again they may meet tomorrow and decide not to vote again. Who knows what will happen!!! This is a vote to fire or keep him.
