    IMO Watauga is the team in the NW4A that will surprise many this year. Brietenstein hasn't been utilized as much as he should have in the past, but now he will be. He is their junior running back and defensive player that is everywhere on the field. Teams better be ready for Watauga.

    Probably. But remember- they have the 2nd hardest schedule of any 4A team in the state and that they have a new coach.

    5 of their first 6 games are.... Shelby, Crest, TC Roberson, Asheville and AC Reynolds.

    After hearing about Kincaid's performance friday night against East Rutherford, why did McDowell never make the original poll? :twocents:

    Courage is FEAR, that said it's PRAYERS.
    After seeing the AC Reynolds defense during these first 3 games (28 yards rushing allowed on 70 attempts) it might not matter!
