    Watauga 4
    AC Reynolds 3

    WP - Lee Amman
    LP - Sam Runion

Watauga was down 3-0 in the 6th inning with two of those coming off of a horrible call in the first inning. When the lead off batter hit a single, Dalton Hardee hit another single, fielders choice to the second baseman but they try to roll two and make a bad throw to first... one runner moves up to second while the other one scores... then with two outs and runners on 1st and 3rd trey dunnigan comes up and connects for a 3 run bomb to take the lead 4-3 over the 380 sign.... he knew it was gone right when he hit it as he started walking and pumping the fist... great game... great site... big upset... and big confidence boost for Watauga.

Wow sounds like a great game between Watauga and AC Reynolds. I know several of us South Caldwell fans will be traveling up to Watauga tomorrow to see them take on Providence. That should be another great game hopefully.

I've always tried to take the approach that bad calls even themselves out, but the Watauga/ACR game was so far beyond my comprehension that I sat stunned for most of the game.
Imagine being Lee Amman, striking out the side in the first, and giving up a run while the entire Watauga team was in the dugout.
On a more positive note, this was probably the biggest second-half conference win for Watauga baseball since Bill Clinton was prez.
    Way to go, guys !

some really unforced defensive errors by McDowell spoils a pretty good outing by Jeremy Freeman. McDaniels fanned about 10 McDowell batters tonight for the Cavaliers in a complete game.

You can't help but to be happy for the Watauga players and their supporters. This was a huge win for them and for their program....I bet there are some gameday hangovers today reliving last night.

BTW, did I read that Providence is coming up there today? What time? I got to see my boy, Emo, play.

...and here's the deal. If Emo hits a HR or if Watauga wins this game...the glove is yours.:cheer: :cheer:
