Yes, that was like a 20-hour meal. Maybe Amman's dad had him over for ribs at their family's restaurant?

Whatever Lee was eating before the game worked out well, too. That's pretty darn impressive to carry a no-no into the 7th against a good N. Davidson team. I'm glad to see he bounced back after the tough loss against the Cougars.

 

Lee pitched OUTSTANDING...
I hope he gets to play in college.. I know he'd enjoy it.
and a few words on the Bayou Smokehouse & Grill...(the Ammann's restaurant)
btw.. Ammann is pronounced (Uh-Mon)..

the Bayou has THE BEST Hot Wings in the world.. and they're cheap, and the ribs are pretty delicious as well.. They also have Corn Nuggets..those are spectacular.

anyways.. lee pitched a great game. Watauga beat a very good North Davidson team..from what I hear, ND and West Forsyth are battling for 1st in their conference.. so a good quality win against a good team for Watauga.. especially for WHS since they're going into a game on Tuesday @ South Caldwell...who is projected to move up to #2 or even #1 by Baseball America tomorrow..

Haha, I put that up while I was eating some cookout. Got a call through my meal saying I left my laptop at the stadium. Got cleaned up and ready for town. Forgot the post. Went and got my laptop and then met some the bandits (nickname, not a gang) for a night on the town.

Lets just say Lee was fired up to bounce back after the Alexander game and Friday night.

Adam Sigmon started the game, and went to Harrington to close. I don't know what inning he came in though.

East Burke - 2

WP - Jimmy Messer
LP - Josh McDaniel

South goes to 14-0 and 8-0 in the NW4A. It was a pitcher's dual in very cold conditions in Burke County. Messer goes to 7-0 on the year (tops in the state). This was one of those games that you are just glad to escape with a win. South continues to see everyone's ace and gets everyone's best shot.

 

When first place meets last place you would think it could get ugly well it almost was for south. Good showing for EB, I hope South wakes up the bats real soon oh I forgot we are facing everyones ace. Its a good thing we can throw an ace every game. I DONT MEAN TO TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FROM A 14-0 START Iguess we fans are spoiled we want to see an 18-0 everygame.
