    Mcdowell is in a tailspin right now-they have lost three straight and looked terrible in their loss to South Caldwell. Not sure what is going on with this team.

    Watauga jvs won the conference last night after beating Alexander Central by about 25

    Freedom beats McDowell by 1 on tuesday night. The refs gave this to Freedom on a Silver Platter. Anyone who saw the last minute of this game knows what I'm talking about.

    Mcdowell finishes the season with a win over Reynolds. Mcdowell was down by as many as 14 in the fourth quarter before winning in OT.


    Congrats to Watauga on their conference championship. They were hands down the best team in the league this season and played like it towards the end.

    correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe that is WHS' JV 2nd or 3rd conference championship in a row...

    hopefully that will leak into the varsity system..

    great job so far this year though.
