    With a week to go before conference, hows everyones JV teasm look? I hear that East Burke looks pretty good. Any word on the rest.

    South Caldwell jv's are 3-0 so far. They have been making some mistakes but have still managed to come out on top. Good QB and running backs.

    Freedom was huge. The game between them and Crest was a great game. Crest won 14-6 and both teams were laying the lumber. I know a lot of varsity teams that would like to have the size of Freedoms JV's.

    Watauga beat Wilkes Central 28-14 I believe. I do not know the Hibriten score but will try to find out. I will send in the score for the Ashe game after tomorrow.

    Watauga over Ashe 7-0 in a defensive struggle. Watauga scored with 1:00 remaining. Ashe broke open a long rum that took the ball to about the 12 yard line. On the next play they threw an interception at WHS's 2 yrd line, game over
