    There's a lot good about our team. We have some really good players who work their tails off and want to win. Nearly all of them play year round and they are ALL really good girls. But what I am seeing is we have never had girls quitting the softball team at SC. This year we have had 3 or 4 quit already, several who are talking about quitting right now and a couple who wouldn't even try out and all of them give the coach as the reason. If it is this prevelant someone needs to take a look. I really love our team and I don't mean to bash, and I'm really not because I really think the coach is trying just don't have what it takes to get the job done. So please don't take me wrong I wish the coach all the luck in the world I just want to see our program back to where it was before she took over and it can be with the right people in place.

    AC Reynolds at South Caldwell tomarrow. Shoild be able to get a good seat I think everyone else at SC is going to the baseball game LOL

    Megan Laxton pitched a one hit shut-out in five complete innings of work. Freshman third baseman Jordan Setzer crushed her first Varsity home run. Congratulations to the NW4A conference leading lady cougars.

    Alexander Central hosts South Caldwell on Friday at Lady Cougar field.

    bolicks babies break out!!!! laxton has a 2 hitter and 5 k`s !cougars are 9-0 5-0 in conf. 7ac`s jv beat watauga 5-0. jennie harrington 7 k`s and gave up 3 hits.
