    I know its just the first game of the season but I think these kids want to prove that last season's magical ride wasn't a fluke. Petey didn't have a big game but all five starters did score at least 8 points...it was a well balanced attack with everybody getting in the game. I think Buggy led with 16 and back up point guard Eli Miller scored 12.

    I don't think anyone thinks last year was a fluke for you guys. Mcdowell has a great team who I don't think anyone in the nw4a will challenge. The sky is the limit for them

    I'm not talking the conference...I'm talking about being one of the best teams in the entire state. Granted we caught a lot of breaks in making it to a regional final...these kids who returned this year want to take the next step.

    last year was no fluke but,i would have like to see watauga played mcdowell with seth moore. i do think that if we would have had him JUST MAYBE we could have won one of the two we played without him.
