I see a couple games going differently
I've never picked before mainly just because I watch Burke Co. Teams play (when they are at home) but I'll say:

    MCDowell over NC 70-50
Watauga over West Caldwell Big 65-40
F T Foard over South --close 55-50 FTF is down but not as far as South
    Freedom blow out of Hibriten--massacre in Mo-town 90-30 (ford-40)
Hickory over EB -- Big 75-50 real hickory may show at home tonight
AC over Wilkes (they are way down this year) 50-45
Roberson over Reynolds-Big 70-50 --bounce back from FHS Loss

    Picks

I havent tried this before but why not give it a whirl!! My picks:

    McDowell should kill NC
Watauga should get on track over West caldwell
I think Fred T Ford will surprise SC
    Freedom should roll over Hibriten
I tend to think like the other post said.. the real Hckory team will show up and run away with it over EB
    Wilkes beat AC
I am going to take Reynolds over TCR just to be differnt

Courage is FEAR, that said it's PRAYERS.
Just heard ACR lost to Roberson tonight. Don't know the score just yet, waiting on that call, but was told it was 12 or 14 points but was a close game most of the way. Also was told the ACR boys were behind by 3 at half.

    McDowell................75
    Newton Conover.......48

NC has a pretty decent team. This Lady Titan team just knows how to put it in the basket.

I believe NC and RS Central were both ranked ahead of McDowell in the pre-season Sweet 16. That should change quickly. I understand the Sweet 16, I just don't understand the pre-season rankings?

South Caldwell beat Foard tonight in overtime. SC is winning right now by out playing their opponents don't know how this will hold up in conference
Rebounding is a big problem for us

    Freedom over Hibriten

As expected Freedom defeated Hibriten 89-26 tonight. Ali Ford scored 33, C. Surratt also scored in double figures for the 3rd straight game. Ford had 27 in the first half and the starters only played 5 minutes in the 2nd half and played zone for 3/4th of the game.

Heard EB lost big tonight(40) to Hickory

Not off much for a beginner
    reality was:

Mcd over Nwt. Conover 75-48 ...off by 5 pts
FHS over Hibriten 89-26...off less than 5 again
Hickory over EB 81-50 ...ok missed hickory score by 6 but nailed EB's
Roberson over ACR 66-48...bothscores within 4
missed SC over FTF but it went to overtime and i noted it would be close.
haven't seen other 2 scores yet

too bad pro games aren't this easy I could make some cash. hahaha

congrats to Watauga football team for a great season even though they did lose to W. Charlotte last night!

I think you were told wrong, Roberson was up 10 after 1qtr, then 20 at half, 17 after 3 and 18 at the end....don't see where this was ever close!
Final 66-48 Roberson over ACR.....just an observation.
