NW4A Pick'em: Week 4

    Suprised not to see more excuses from Mcdowell bunch...I think the realization that they will work for every game has set in.

    East Burke didn't play but I did hear Freedom Girls won by 4 (after having 19 pt lead) and Boys lost by 4 to Ashevill, but don't know scores. Maybe someone knows more.

    that's because we got class...if we win, we talk about it. And if we lose, we talk about it.


    Tonight's outcome is the perfect example of having a young team. That game was there for us to take, but nobody showed the desire of wanting it. Roberson wanted it more than we did, and they took the ball and ran with it. As ladiesfan mentioned, they got a decent squad this year. We did a poor (and I'm being nice) job down in the interior. Roberson got 2nd, 3rd and even 4th chances on offense. With the girls we got down low, that shouldn't be happening. I also agree with ladiesfan that Dages has earned herself more playing time. And it seems like when Jessica enters the game, that the intensity level increases.

    It dosen't get much better on friday when Providence Day makes the trip to Marion.

    Dribbles, I dont think Mcdowell will have to worry to much about every game. Remember they play AC...

    WOW! How did AC score 56 pts?? or are they keeping a running total on the year? hehe

    Looks like NW4A may be very tight at top.

    East Burke beats Asheville, but was whipped in the scimmage with TC Roberson, who Freedom beat, then TC beats McDowell ,...Freedom/ Reynolds both barely beat Asheville, SC loses to Foard, who lost scrimmage with Freedom (i'm told). Sounds like there's alot of hope for the top 4-5 anyway. should be some fun games this year.
    At least everyone is paying Asheville back for last years whippings!:agreed:

    South Caldwell over St. Stephens by about 25 or 30. Not real sure of the final score. Kidd lead the Spartans in scoring tonight

    Asheville at AC Reynolds game scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 8th, has been postponed until Wednesday, Dec. 21st. due to weather. :banginghe
