Here's my take on the game...

Granted the stats were not that good (as titan90 stated) I thought we played with the intensity and effort that was needed in the first ten minutes of the game. Providence Day came out there first thing and lit it up. But we came back and answered. The Smith three pointer at the end of the first quarter and then the two steals and baskets got the game back within six. But as soon as Kurie got foul number three, it was like taking a pin to a balloon and watch the air go straight out. It was game, set and match.

I wanna give Providence Day all the kudos, they are a very good team and they acted as classy as any team I have ever seen. Their coach along with Mike are two of the best coaches in this state.

I also wanna say thanks to those who attended the game. I think we know who the real supporters of the Lady Titans are and the ones who rode the Lady Titan bandwagon the last four years (and you people know who you are). Just do me a favor, when we are winning again, please don't jump back on the bandwagon, you may injure those who really care.

Good to see the Lady Titans come out strong against the Warlassies. Mike shuffled the starting lineup, Lea Smith did not play today because of a pulled muscle. She'll be ready for East Rutherford on Tuesday.

Kurie Washington led the Lady Titans with 24 points (16 in first half), Kelsea Greene scored 20 points, Ebonique Hamilton scored 12 (coming off the bench), and Jessica Smith added seven points.
