Well, I went off on a limb and took Freedom because I was impressed with their quickness against Grayson Co. Ga, and I didn't see the loss to McDowell. I guess it's become obvious they don't have the scoring options. I'm not saying they won't win a big game, it's just hard for Ford to do it all. By the way, great defensive job by Thompson on Ford, and Reynolds can really shoot the 3.

What's up with that Lady Titan score? That surprises me even though I figured they would play well because they've played a lot lately, but dang!

    Keep it up ladies!

South Caldwell lost to St. Stephens tonight and played really bad. They shot the ball about as bad as possible. If they play like this in conference they will strugle to beat ALEXANDER CENTRAL!!!!

Everyone go ahead and lay it on me!! I can take it. You gotta pick your school to win don't you?? The Lady Pioneers played the worst game on the year tonight. They could not even get an offense started. Up here in the mountains, we call what happened tonight a good, old-fashion, take you behind the woodshed, whooping!! :whippin McDowell laid it on Watauga tonight.

MCdowell is good, but they are not 60+ points better than Watauga. The team that showed up for Watauga last night was not the same team that showed up against South Caldwell or Freedom.

Oh well, I made a fool of myself. Hope the girls can bounce back and get ready for the Lady Rockets Friday night.

If ACR can get balanced scoring like that in every game they will be tough to handle when you combine that with their defense and rebounding. Yes, Ali scored 23 however much of that came late in the second half after the game was out of reach as ACR had this game in hand for much of the 3rd and 4th quarters. Thompson (along with help defense on screens) did a fine job playing defense on her in the first half and limiting her scoring opportunities when the game was still in doubt. Ali Ford is a very good player but really needs more support out there, tonight at times it seemed she tried to do too much, although I know she has too also.

Bigdan,I checked out the freedom-reynolds game last night and it was clear that the patriots are a one lady{ford}team. The lady rockets have a good balanced team and I believe the rockets-titans game will be a great one. It's hard to predict an out come unless you figure the score both teams put up against freedom,70-58 as opposed to 91-70. The lady rockets have at least 4 players that can score but I didn't see anyone as explosive as mcdowells washington. They will hurt you if you give them the open three's . Ford hurt them on several drives to the basket and she is quite a bit shorter than washington. If mcdowell continues to mature and improve we could again burst the undefeated bubble for the lady rockets when they meet. It will be a good one.
