NW4A Pick'em: Week 8 (Conf. Week 4)

Big games coming up this week as we get ready to finish the first rotation through the conference schedule (season's going by quickly). This is the week that teams will start to break apart in the race for the conference championship. Here are the games for this week:

AC Reynolds @ South Caldwell
Alex. Central @ Watauga


NOTE: AC Reynolds and Watauga both have non-conference games this week, but we won't pick those games. Good thing Reynolds didn't have a tough conference game on Tuesday, and play 3 including Roberson in the same week.

Reynolds/Roberson is an intriguing matchup, and should be a great game?

I'm really looking forward to South Caldwell and McDowell on tuesday. I predicted McDowell by 14, but I think it will stay really close. It could very well be possible that most if not all starters for South will play all 32 minutes. That will take a toll in the end.

 

You hit the nail on the head Big Dan, SC starters will see a lot of minutes and it has to take it's toll. This will be a tough game for SC playing at Mcdowell. Hopefully Church over her virus by then. SC will have to shoot much better than their last two games to win up there. Two tough games this week with Reynolds on Friday SC needs to win at least one of the two.

 

Well, the Reynolds/Roberson game first off is not a "make up" game, it was scheduled for JAN. 10th from the beginning of the year. The reason it was moved to JAN. 9th was due to ACR having EXAMS starting on Tuesday and the JV teams would be unable to leave school early.
