sorry you feel the way you do about me and the other McDowell fans who post on here. Again stating my opinion, I thought the first half was definitely an advantage for South Caldwell and the second half the calls were bad on both sides. Taking the physical play and all the fouls and putting it aside, I thought it was a very good game. One team would score, the other would answer with a score of their own. South had a couple costly turnovers late in the game and McDowell was able to take advantage and win the game.

Good luck to South Caldwell against AC Reynolds on friday night...

I would like to reply to your comments. First off, I got a front row view of what you are talking about. There were a group of about four or five kids from South Caldwell who decided to come sit behind where I and the others usually sit including the guy you are talking about. Funny how these kids were sitting with the other South Caldwell students for about 90 percent of the game and then with about four minutes to go come down to mingle with McDowell fans. It's a classic situation of kids trying to annoy older folks for attention and their personal pleasure. Obviously somebody must have said the right words because some words were exhanged between those kids and the McDowell fans that were involved.

As far as visitors and where they sit, first off it wasn't like it was standing room only at McDowell tonight. There was plenty of room for South Caldwell fans to sit. Some of these kids and their parents outta use some common sense and realize that McDowell and other home teams folks, some do sit directly behind the bench. I know the McDowell folks, when they travel, try to space theirselves from the other team's fans. BTW, I've seen many times over the years visiting fans make theirselves comfortable on the opposite side of the gym.

As usual you idiots from McDowell have no class, You do the same thing for East Burke also. Get on your own side of the gym.

It may be the first time you have posted it but don't you remember last Friday night when SC only won because the officials errantly put time back on the clock ? I guess it evened out tonight but you won't see it that way. Short term memory loss I guess.

    St Stephens/Foard

St. Stephens wins at Fred T. Foard in OT 75-67.

Foard's Jami Safrit, who didn't look late last week that she'd be able to play in this game (foot) scored 25. However, Durham took a nasty fall before the half, and Powell, their center, got into foul trouble.

St. Stephens snaps the 34-game home winning streak by the Tigers.

    :thud:

CVAC race heats up big-time now.

I posted that, and it is true. I saw every play. Most every layup Lakey hit was uncontested, basically. That's a tribute to her moves. Nobody else went inside. You are biased, and refused to see what happened. I'm sure it will be just as rough at South, it always is.

Which side would that be, and how do you get to decide? The home fans were behind the home bench, and across the gym. Is that abnormal? I guess you want the visiting fans behind the home bench?

People should be able to watch a game and get excited, without wanting to fight.

I'm not putting this on Mcdowell alone. All the schools do this includinding South Caldwell fans. You know as well as I do that traditionally the side with the scorers table is the visitors side. Home fans sit on the other side of the gym. This should be come a rule and be inforced. Also as Big dan stated it wasn't standing room only and there was plenty of room for the Mcdowell fans on their side of the gym last night. The same goes for the games at SC
but still some of our fans have to go over and sit on the visitors side and anytime you do this you are asking for trouble.
