Great week in conf. for the Rockets...Thursday, Runion goes the distance for the Rockets in Marion as the Rockets defeat the Titans 12-3..Evan Miller takes the loss..Cam Duckworth busted another 3 run homer to left center for the 3rd straight game...at home Friday, as posted, the Rockets erased a 1-0 deficit in the bottom of the 7th to beat East Burke 2-1 with the winning run scoring on a passed ball,(wild pitch?) with two out...ACR really manufactured those runs with a combination of walks, heads up base running and a big rbi double from Seth Hines that tied the game. Howell and Hemby hooked up in a classic pitchers duel. Howell went seven for the win, giving up three hits..7 k's, 1 unearned run..Hemby left after 5, leading 1-0..gave up two doubles to catcher Dakota Slagle..Watts took the loss.

    ACR..5-2 conf., 10-4 overall

Rocket jv's take two from McDowell and East Burke..12-0 and 10-1.

    jv's 5-2 conf., 10-4 overall

    Where are the Tuesday scores?

    Freedom 7
    Watauga 8

Pioneers erase 6-run deficit to win.

    W. Henderson 8
    McDowell 7 (non conference)

Titans erase 7-run deficit only to lose anyway.

What about the other two conference games???

    N. Davidson @ Watauga

Watauga lost its Wednesday non-conference tilt, 8-7 to North Davidson in Boone. Too many walks. But Watauga continues to swing the bats well, earasing a 4-0 deficit to tie the game 4-4, then coming back from down 8-4 to get within 8-7, but left the tying and go-ahead runs on in the 7th.
