Just heard a while ago that the South Caldwell/Watauga game will be played in Boone as scheduled. This will be a huge game for both teams trying to start off the conference in the right direction. Hope it's a good game!

Jonathan Millsaps does a great job in relief of Brennen James (Soph), to seal the victory for the Cougars. Foard scored 5 runs in the 1st inning, but could not slow down the Cougars offensive attack. Down 8-3 in the fifth, the Cougars scored 6 runs to take the lead. Millsaps struck out 5 out of the 7 batters he faced in the last 2 innings to secure the win. Logan Chapman, Lucas LaSalle and Taylor Miller, all had a good night at the plate. The Cougars are now 3-1 and face McDowell at home tomorrow.
