Does anyone know who pitched for Watauga and Reynolds in this game? Also does anyone have any scores from the South Caldwell game?

South Caldwell lost to Freedom 3-1.
Freshman Madison Bumgarner took the loss, Alex Dergins won for Freedom.

This brings up a dreaded term from basketball, PARITY! Remember in boys basketball this year 4 teams tied for 4th place (and last). Right now, it looks like Alexander/Watauga and then everyone. How many spots do the NW4A field this year in the playoffs?

    Game finished in 5 innings

    WP - Jonathan Greene (3-1)

    Watauga (7-2)

Did Mcdowell (Taylor) loose on Friday?

Don't know who took the loss for McDowell, but EB won something like 5-4 (threw Saturday's paper away, sorry).

I don't know if BigDan or any of the Marion Crew is looking on, but I have been wondering what the deal with Michael Taylor is. Is he injured? I ask because I have not seen anything about him as of late.

ACHS defeated Freedom tonight to move to 11-0 overall. It was an interesting game with the Cougars barely knocking off the Patriots 9-8 in extra innings. Matt Payne blasted two homers bringing his season total to five. Bryan Corbett knocked in Brandon Kinniard in the 8th to seal the deal.

Courage is FEAR, that said it's PRAYERS.
Here is the box score....great win for the Rockets, but looks like they still need to work on their fielding! 7 errors, after committing 9 at Alexander Central earlier this year! Congrats on the win though!

    S CALDWELL - 0 2 1 0 3 0 0 - 6 10 2
    AC REYNOLDS 0 0 2 3 0 3 X - 8 10 7
