    South Caldwell won the varsity game tonight with Freedom. The game was called after 5 innings

    Freedom won the jv game 7-6

    Couldn't get the sticks going. Hope this unstuck them. Whitney Waites and Kayla Johnson came up with big hits. Pierce gets the win but alot of hurting with an injured quad.

    Hats off to Cherryville. After the first game a lot of AC people said you guys could not compete with AC. Read an article today that AC was returning to domincance and the bats were leading the way. Looks like you shut them both down.

    AC defeats Freedom

    Leah Krohn, Mindy Gibson, Whitney Benfield hit it out tonite. Benfield makes the 6th player to put it over the fence this season. 4 players have put 2 or more over. Team hitting a .430 average with Krohn and Emily Pierce leading the team. Pierce has .170 ERA on the mound.

    JV player Chelsey Walker put one over for AC during JV action.
    She was 4 for 4 against Cherryville

    AC plays West Forsyth Monday.

    (Mindy Gibson had 8K's against Cherryville - GREAT JOB MINDY)

    Emily Beck hit a 3 run shot over the fence in center field and Heather Pritchard hit a solo homer to left


    Mcdowell won the jv game
