    Freedom's JV's are 1-2 in conference. They beat Watuaga but lost to AC Reynolds and South. Ya'll have a good varsity team. That was a great game between South and Freedom. Errors killed Freedom. If it hadn't been for those errors, we might have had a scoreless ballgame for even longer. Freedom has to hit the ball. South's defense made some great plays. That should be a another good game when they make the trip to Morganton in a few weeks. Freedom now has to concentrate on ACHS. They have to play them tonight. Freedom better be ready to play. Hey, maybe they can hit the ball tonight, we'll just have to wait and see.

    Chris Nigro goes the distance. THrew a 2 hitter, one walk, and struck out 16, actually struck out the side 4 times.

    Nigro and thompson RBI singles.

    achs beat Freedom 12-6, Kinniard got the win. Chapman took the loss.

    Reid went the distance ( great job)
    Bentley 2 homeruns (5 RBI's)

    JV's : South Caldwell 3 - McDowell 1

    Justice 5 complete, Justin Stuart 1 complete.

    Varsity 12 -0 and JV's 8 - 0

    Freedom took a tough loss against ACHS. Freedom again, made to many errors. Their pitching was not there either. Freedom hit the ball great, but could not get some key hits. Chapman pitched the ball well for 3 innings, but then something happened. Sam Kidd had a 2 run double. Powell went 3-4, with a homerun, a double, and a single. Freedom needs to work hard this week. McDowell comes to town on Friday. Don't know who Freedom is gonna pitch. They are looking to see Taylor. Love the lefties.

    who won the south caldwell ACR game tonight
    ACHS plays watauga tommorrow. should be a good game, and if south won then this game will be for 2nd place. I think AC has the upper hand on this game, because their bats are finally starting to come alive alittle. Good luck to both teams.

    South Caldwell (12) vs. AC Rynolds (4). Pretty good game. The wind kept the ball in the park tonight. Marc Guerra worked the first half of the game allowing AC's 4 runs. Shane Coffey went the second half and gave up no runs. South Caldwell remains unbeaten (13-0) and (5-0) in conference.
