NW4A - Week 11

you cant sit around and make excuses and reasons why teams lose- we do it here in marion every week and i know me and titandan are tired of it. watauga is a good team and adding better teams is good for you guys. but just because u play better teams doesnt mean its gonna change the outcome, if they are better then they will win. im not downing watauga- they arent better than any team that beat them. any way you dissect it they arent. look at freedom- played a tough schedule but you guys wouldnt beat any of those teams that they lost to either out of conference. its got pros and cons but just because you play tougher teams doesnt mean it helps you against other better teams.

 

I'll say the best defense Watauga saw in Icard that night had a little to do with East Burke's defense, but instead mostly East Burke's offense.

last years defense maybe better ur right... but this years defense has much more heart than they did... and its ashamed that u have so much confidence in your team because acr is here to stay...


Oh yea one more question since somebody wants to bring up stats and numbers... How many state championships do yall have? how many conference championships do yall have? not that many huh

 

22- how is that stat relavent to anything? How many playoff victories over Watauga do you have? How many players in the shrine bowl? those aren't stats you throw out there, thats a team with tradition. Nobody said ACR is not here to stay. I'm not saying Watauga will win, but thats the attitude that led to last years playoff result, and if WHS and ACR take care of business this week...senior night in Boone wll be huge! The Pioneers are hungry for the win that makes them a legit team this year, Davie wasn't it, Shelby wasn't it....ACR?

 

Umm..........excuse me.............ACR has yet to play in the big 4AA playoffs against teams like Independence, Butler, and Richmond Senior. I don't want to hear anything about your "state championships". Atleast until you prove it in another playoff system.

 

honestly a "NW4A all star team" would have trouble with Indy or Butler...

 

Hey clown, ACR is 1-1 all time against both independence and richmond including a win over a nationally ranked richmond team on the way to the '99 championship.

 

playing good teams dont help,you just dont know much about football every coach from hs to the pros will tell you you have to play goods if you want be good,they . acr coach would tell you that,and how times have i said east just flat beat us and ,there are allway reason why you lose,now you may not be good enough to make it happen but you know what you did wrong in that game and if you play that team again you should know what you have to do to win the next time. ask acr about last year they beat us bad the 1st time and what happen the 2nd time we we played them.

 

wow, 2 whole games. All the teams that have to play Indy or Richmond every year in the playoffs should bow down.
