    SC 63
    East Burke 57

Not sure if that is the exact score but close. Good ball game SC lead for most of the game. I usually don't say anything about officiating but the refs kept the game closeer in the 2nd half than it should have been. The foul total with 1:03 left in the game was 15 for SC and only 6 for EB. They missed some on the EB side also but we really got hit hard with fouls tonight. Still good win and a good game. Hopefully someone will post the correct score

IMO I think the officiating was very bad both ways. It hurt East Burke just as much as it hurt SC. Up through the 2nd quarter the game went back & forth. The game was at 17, 17 & Murray subbed 4 girls that normally aren't in the game at crucial times. South extended the lead 24, 17 & they never trailed again. EB pulled within 2 in the 3rd, but South was still in control.
If things aren't working in your favor, you need to know when to try something new.:banghead: When EB hedged in man, South hit open shots. When EB quit hedging they penetrated to the basket. But EB stayed in man the entire game, and South continued to score. Props to SC.

cavs1 I agree they weren't to good either way tonight and that is strange because those 3 we had tonight are usually pretty good. I guess they just got off to a bad start and never got on track

Thad, no offense, but one person in doubles and the rest in singles doesnt seem balanced. Now, if Ford had 18 and the rest in the 12-15 point range, thats balance.

Did Connelly play tonight? If you can get Chelsea and Ali 15-20 points each and then the secondary players score like they did tonight, you can't ask for much more balance.

I agree with you, but as we go-- it's more balance than we usually get. We get Ford with 24+, Connelly with 14+ and then 4 or so here and there from others. So to have 4 other players score 6+ it's balanced. Of course you would like to have 4 with 15 plus and we could've had that tonight if we left our rotations alone.

A lot of kids played extra minutes tonight that normally don't play in conference play. That was great for us, to gain a little experience for a few more kids..
