Its Monday, but never too early....some interesting games this week.

East Burke vs Watauga (EBs Homecoming)
Freedom vs South Caldwell (FHS Homecoming)
    McDowell @ ACR
ACHS vs Bye (a badly needed game for the Cougars)

East Burke will beat Watauga by 14- EB will not turn the ball over this week and will score 35. Watauga will be tough and will have plenty of yards running and passing but EB will weather those yards and keep the ball out of the end zone. 35-21 EB
Freedom will beat South by 24-Freedom has alot of pride up there and will make a statement by pounding South. 34-10 Freedom
Reynolds will beat Mcdowell by 17- Reynolds is strong on both sides of the ball; will give up the rushing yards but like EB they will put the points on the board 34-17 Reynolds

Watauga (28-17)-We get healthy. Defense has to get better. Maybe we can bring some more sophomores up from the JV :11: (Sorry). Offense is looking great.

    Freedom(14-7)-FHS needs this game.

AC Reynolds(28-17)- ACR better not fall asleep on these guys.

1.EB over Watauga-pioneers yes you beat my titans but with any tackles at all the titans would have won. im sure eb can play defense and atleast tackle when they hit eric in the backfield or anywhere unlike the titans friday night.
    2. Freedom over South Caldwell- could be a close one or even a "upset" if thats what you want to call it if freedom keeps coughing the ball up. South takes advantage of turnovers well, if patriots take care of the ball they will take care of the spartans.
    3. McDowell-Reynolds? well il keep picking them titans maybe one week il look like a genius. Spencer is a speedy threat and if Wall is back could be even worse for the titan defense. Should be a good challenge for the offensive line this week and Kincaid. Looking forward to seeing two good backs go head to head just like last week.

Watauga @ East Burke....One of the better games of the year in the NW4A. Both teams run it well but Watauga has shown to be the better passing team of the two. It should be close, tough, and filled with emotion. I think Watauga gets the win by 6.

Freedom- S Caldwell...Spartans coming off the bye week so they have had two weeks to prepare. Freedom is a team that should be better IMO. I'll take the Patriots simply because they will put more athletes in the game. They usually do put more athletes in the game but it dosen't seem to help much.

McDowell-AC Reynolds....Two talents at tailback in Buggy and Spencer. Reynolds should win by two touchdowns.

ACHS- Bye....No team has ever needed an off week more than the Cougars, they are really banged up.

Watauga @ East Burke What a game this could be! Being scheduled as a homecoming too! But the way I see it Watauga will have back thier leading tackler, and hopefully the better passing QB. With them Watauga ruins the Cavs homecoming 28-21.

Freedom @ South Two teams that should be better then they have been so far. Freedom brings the atheletes, South however has the homefield and the bye week on thier side. South in the upset 17-14.

McDowell @ Reynolds Spencer will have a field day with the Titan D, Buggy is a force but one man alone can't beat a team. Especially Reynolds. Rockets roll 49-20

    NW4A - Week 9

East Burke over Watauga 28 -12 Last week East Burke coughed up the ball 3 times and had one interception. They have the 3rd leading reciever in the conference and if the QB keeps his head the passing game should work well.
Freedom over South Caldwell 15-13 South Caldwell is a better team than their record shows. They always seem to play well against Freedom. This one will be close.
ACR over McDowell 28-20 ACR has an excellent defense against the run but Buggy will find a way to get to the endzone.
