Observer Gaston County Easter Tournament

    As of now, here's the schedule for the Observer's 17th Annual Gaston County Easter Tournament. All games are played at Ashbrook HS and the schedule is different than past years because Gaston County has "snow makeup days" on Monday and Tuesday.

    Monday, April 14

    Game 1: Bessemer City vs East Gaston @ 4:30
    Game 2: Forestview vs Cherryville @ 7:00

    Tuesday, April 15

    Game 3: South Point vs Hunter Huss @ 4:30
    Game 4: Ashbrook vs North Gaston @ 7:00

    Wednesday, April 16

    Game 5: Game 1 and Game 2 Losers @ 10:00
    Game 6: Game 3 and Game 4 Losers @ 1:00
    Game 7: Game 1 and Game 2 Winners @ 4:00
    Game 8: Game 3 and Game 4 Winners @ 7:00

    Thursday, April 17

    Game 9: Game 5 and Game 6 Losers @ 4:30 (7th & 8th place)
    Game 10: Game 5 and Game 6 Winners @ 7:00 (5th & 6th)

    Friday, April 18

    Game 11: Game 7 and Game 8 Losers @ 4:30 (3rd& 4th place)
    Game 12: Game 7 and Game 8 Winners @ 7:00 (Championship)

    I will definitely be there for one or more games...please take note SPD...an incognito Food Critic maybe visiting, so tell Mr. Martin to whip up his best stuff:D

    Tell the Food Critic we'll be ready! Booster Club just purchased a custom built gas/charcoal grill that Mr. Martin's been practicing on and deep fryer for Freemdom fries, pickles and such. Word has it we're going "out of house" and Klye Fletcher's is supplying the best chopped BBQ around. And to top it all off, we'll have baseball!! An unverified rumor is the Andy Partin of Impact Baseball will also make an appearance. We'll look for all the "faithful" TBR folks at the games.
