It’s not often you see two performances like this in the same game. Rhoney was awesome. Had the hitters guessing all night. He would get them looking for that slider and then pump a 90 mile fastball right past em. Sharpe was in a grove, retiring 18 straight at one time. A no hitter was stolen from him with two outs in the 7th. Rumor has it (I saw the guns but did not see the actual readings), that both guys were working in the 88 range and toped out at 91. Side note- The game was won in the 9th, setup by the one and only error in the game. Watauga got a clutch hit (Phil Gordon) to score the unearned run!!

Walt Sparks has a great day

Walt Sparks, Catcher, Ragsdale had an unusual experience for a catcher. He had 3 assists in one inning. bunt and throw out for 1st out, picked off runner at 1st for 2nd out and threw out a runner at 2nd for the 3rd out...that doesn't happen very often.

He also went 2-3, 2 doubles and 3 RBI's in the same game. What a night!!:clapclap:

But it didn't stop there. Walt went 3-3 the next night, also. The young man is having a great week! Too bad it's raining or who knows what he would do next
