Olen Little commits to Wingate University

    Olen Little, East Mecklenburg pitcher, has committed to play baseball and football (punter) at Wingate University.

    Congrats to Olen and his family! I think it's great for him to be able to play both sports!

    Way to go Olen!!! A great athlete that will be able to balance his academics with the 2 sports. Also, Olen is an extraordinary young man that is very humble and respectful. There were many times I would find him after practice attending a LL game and would find him working with a kid on pitching.

    Coach Oz got him a good 'un!!! I know they worked very hard to make this happen.

    Congrats to his parents, Ec and Billie. You won't find better people:banana: There's no wonder why Olen has turned out the way he has.

    College coaches will be putting 'lil Olen (Luke) on their radar soon, too

    Congrates to a great athlete and family. We enjoyed the visits our kids were able to take together. Look forward to seeing both competing at the college level. EC I'm going to hold you to the Hotdogs and popcorn when we visit Wingate next year. Good luck and see you on the field.
