On Deck Tourney

    This past weekends On Deck Baseball tournament appeared to be a huge success. With 25 teams, there were only two games lost to weather.
    The tourney was held at UNCC, Catawba, Pfieffer, Davidson, and Winget, as well as area high school fields.

    The Express got it handed to them in their first game of showcase on a series of errors and walks. The next day they came back and beat the Angels 12-11. On Sunday they beat the SC Cougars Red 15-4 and the Virginia Cavs 8-0. Good weekend for their first showcase tournament. On Deck did a great job getting all these games in with all the rain.
