This Board has spoken many times about the positive virtues of Robert Woodard. I hope he won't mind, but I have a few more things to say to close out his HS career.

You have heard stories of how the Latinos are playing baseball from sun up to sundown. How there is always some player working hard while many American kids are watching TV, playing video games or going to the movies. Well, there is one kid that will never be unprepared or outworked-----Robert Woodard

While all our kids were snoring up a storm yesterday morning, there was one kid up at 4 AM, running 5 miles to ensure that not only is he in shape, but refuses to allow somebody else to outwork him. Perhaps there are a few with more talent, but they will never attain the life long success this kid will accomplish. He can do..or he can be..whatever he chooses. And whatever that is, he will be the best!!

You may never run across a kid like this in your lifetime, so for those who know him...treasure that relationship...because you will not see it again. That, I will assure you!!

Now, after mentioning his many virtues this year, there is one more that many people do not know. This will probably embarrass him...so I will enjoy this even more:) Since Robert has very little time to do anything else, he found that he could squeeze just a little more out of his 24 hours...so he practiced to become an accomplished Pianist!!!.....Good lord...is there anything he can't do!?!

Next thing you know, somebody will tell you that he can sing.....huh...oh...he can do that too.

Robert.....I think I can speak for all of us at TBR when I say that we are especially proud to have a player of your caliber as a contributing member of this board. Chief is right, there's no doubt that you can/will accomplish any goal that you set for yourself. Keep us posted on your college baseball experiences. GOOD LUCK.

I've said it before, I'll say it again "You da man".
