As seen on PTI. The 2009 Dance off between USF and UCONN which took place at bright house field May 21st, 2009. Filmed by the staff at Bright House Field. This dance off was a result of the two teams waiting though a 5 hour rain delay. This is the most complete video of the of the event and is largely un-editied.

Ain't that da way it ought to be? Hate ya between the lines...Love ya 5 minutes later. I enjoyed watching the 2 teams 'cheer' each other as much I did the hilarious crazy dance stuff. Oh to be young again...

That is how you enjoy a rain delay! If you have to be at the park and can't play baseball you might as well have fun!

Truly awesome...boys loving being on the field. Another rain delay story, wish I had youtube of this :

In '79 I had the opportunity to play on our national team. We spent a couple weeks in Puerto Rico, and we go to our 1st practice and it's at this huge stadium ... and the parking lot is jammed. We're all jacked up thinking folks came out to watch the USA boys practice! Well, we get inside and see what's really going on ... they have a pro wrestling show going on, with the stage set up in the infield ... and about 30 k in attendance ! All the sudden, a big thunderstorm breaks out, the wraslers go into the dugouts, and the fans start booing. Not to disappoint the fans, our cf grabs our lf...they yank off their spikes, hop the railing and run out to the stage and begin their own "match" ... jumping off ropes, body slams , I mean the whole act. The fans went absolutely nuts ! (As did our coach, a VERY straight laced guy from Arizona some of you may remember...Jerry Kindall).

Oh yeah, the cf that started it all ? A skinny kid named Terry Francona.

That was great. Things like that make baseball fun and different. Love that spirit.
