Leslie throws the ball fast. My DD pitched behind her in rec ball when they were 11 years old. Leslie had already been clocked at 60*. Leslie had been throwing 100 pitches a day for 5 or more days a week and was probably already 5' 7". She's 6' now.

That * beside the 60 is because I know that the policy of the facility where she was clocked is that you only have to throw that speed once, in the strike zone, and it can be during a walk-up drill. So, when she was 11, I'd say she was probably throwing 55 or better during games.

And now, at 14, I think she is throwing 60+ judging from the travel time. Not unhittable, but tough.

I had heard she'd left the Crush, but do you know where she's gone?

    Carolina Elite?

A new team is being formed in her area I am not sure if this name is correct. The first I had heard of Leslie was from a travel coach in Atlanta that said they clocked her consistently above 58 when she was 11. This occurred during the 12U A ISA World that they won in Atlanta. That was the first time I had ever heard of her. This summer was the first time I saw her for myself. If she doesn't have a serious injury she will be a big catch for some school.
