    Person (8-2) versus Jordan (7-3)

    Person plays at Jordon tonight at 7pm. This should be a good one and will determine sole posession of second place in the conference. Both teams are relying on a lot of young players to step up and have done it to date. Coach Bell at Jordon is a class act and it's always nice to see a coach of his integrity do well (except tonight). I spoke to him back during football season and he knew then they would be young and inexperienced. This is going to be a matchup between two top notch sandbaggers.:woohoo:

    This will be a good game I wish I could see it but we are playing so I better not. Person has two of the best Sr players in our area with Robbie Byrd and Jared Moore. But they also have some young players that are going to be very good. Help me out on the name I forgot it Big Byrd but the second baseman for you guys is a soph and he is a player. This guy is one tough out at the plate and can play some d as well. Tolley on the hill a LHP that is going to be very good in fact he is already. Roxboro has a bright future with the young talent they have and they are going to be real tough down the stretch this year. Jordan has one of the better 08 players around in Steele Myers. Myers is a SS and pitches as well. Madden can be very effective on the hill and has hit well this year. This should be a great match up with two outstanding coaches as well.

    Thanks Coach for the good words

    Coach I think the second baseman you are referring to is Craig Reid for the Rockets. Yes he IS a player and has speed once he gets on base.
    Elliott Tolley has done nothing but get better as time goes on!! He has been doing a great job of late. Another tuff lefty coming along is Hunter Wrenn. We should be hearing good things about him in the future.
    Jerrod Moore I beleive will get the start tonight on the hill for the Rockets and I know he wants the ball to try and get the Rockets into sole possesion of second place for the Pac-Six conference. And Robbie Byrd has started to get his bat hot!!! Big game for the Rockets tonight and should be a good one!!! :woohoo: I will need to go and take my nerve pill right about now!! :umno:
