    ok guys its pretty quiet. rolled up or down which do you like old school or new. how about socks i remember the old stirrup socks with stripes!!!!!!!!!!!:ylsuper: :woohoo:

    Pants Down

    Personally I like the pants down. I love the new style in the pros where the pants come down over the shoes. Looks Awesome!!! And stirrups, I wore those once when I was 11 and havent since. Why did they slide back under my heel!!!? Uncompfortable.

    Sanitary Hose and Stirrups....that was the way to go. I tried to show my son how to "roll his socks" over his pants to keep the socks from sliding down...he thought I was crazy.:woohoo:

    Count my vote for pants up and showing socks, just like the good 'ole days!! Besides.....it's hard to get pants long enough for the boy!!:zaehne:

    I'm okay with either but boy do I remember the days of going to Faul & Crymes sporting goods inside Collins to pick up new sanitaries. Used to buy my wood bats there too. That was THE sporting goods store back then. As for my son, the older he gets, the lower the pants get. Likes them over top of his cleats now.

    Also remember cutting the stirrups and adding elastic so they would pull up farther. You could only see the strips of color running down the sides.

    I always loved rolling my pants up and actually made it an art when I was 10-14...then an All-Star coach made us wear ours down and then in high school we had to wear them down and now in college we have to wear them down...just wish I could go back to being young and rolling the pants up again. Just my opinion

    i have no preference as long as the team is uniform. meaning that you dont have 4 or 5 players doing one thing and the rest doing another. :twocents:
