    Heard from a source today that Morgan Faulkner is the new coach at Patton High Schoo.........

    I guess i should know who this is but I dont. Can someone enlighten me on Morgan Faulkner background and such?

    Coach Silvers?

    Just a rumor, but the word is that coach silvers has asked for an interview at patton. That may just be a spur of the moment thing he did because he felt like he was done wrong but that would be a major step for a new school. Unfortunately if he did go to patton it may take him quite a few years to get the wins he needs to break the record as there isnt alot of talent coming in .

    He could start out well if some of the lady titans transferred to patton to play for him. Who knows?? I believe coach Silver will end up coaching at REYNOLDS in 2009. Just my opinion..

    That would be a real steal for patton
    I really don't think any of the ladies from McDowell would transfer to a new school just to play for a coach unless they were players that wouldn't start or get much court time. Plus the titans have a chance to go real deep in the playoffs next year. Do you think Reynolds would want all the drama that would come from them hiring Silvers?

    This is exactly as you stated...a rumor. Mike isn't going to Patton, end of story. Meanwhile, I haven't seen any stories in the Morganton paper that would confirm Faulkner as the coach.

    BigDan...have you spoken to Coach Silver since all this?? You know him pretty well, maybe you should give him a ring.

    Don't know how true this is but I heard that Coach Gregory is the new girls coach at Patton. He was the JV coach at Freedom the last few years.

    Yep, it's true. He was named last week as the womens coach at Patton.

    Do you really think that? Do you really think Kelsea Kurie Ebonique or anybody else on our team would go there. JUST TO PLAY FOR MIKE SILVER?!!!! WOW. ladys and gentlemen that is pure ignorance at its best..
