    Seems to me like all they really need to do is to change the color scheme of the logo. A lot of high schools have logos similar to that of college programs.

    Yep, let's see how many we can name, that are college or NFL.
    Just off the top of my head.
    Crest = Packers
    Salisbury = 49ers is that right?

    what's some more?

    West Henderson's logo is the same "W" that the University of Wisconsin uses except West Henderson's is blue. Owen uses a maroon version of the Indiananapolis Colts logo.

    Watauga uses the wisconsin w as well
    Ashe uses the old App St A
    And one of the schools in wilmington uses the Viking from minnesota

    ACHS a few years back just had the gold helmets. ND Like. Coach Price is a good guy!

    East Lincoln (I think) has the same logo as the Denver Broncos.

    South Caldwell's SC is eeriely like that of the University of South Carolina. (Baseball) that is....

    Patents or Trademarks

    The problem is the trademark/patent Penn State has on their logo. Some schools don't have patents on their logo so other teams can copy them..

    Avery County: Appalachian State "A"

    Watauga: in uniforms, a copy of Penn State

    Enka: 1980's New York Jets logo

    McDowell: for the longest time used the 5-pointed star on the silver helmet (with the M in the middle, like my avatar) copying the Dallas Cowboys

    East Burke & East Rutherford: a variance of the UVa Cavaliers logo (instead of a V its an E for East Rutherford and a EB for East Burke - along with the crossing cutlasses)
