    SC Panthers Game 4

The SC Panthers win game 4. No details at this time; will follow.

Game 5; Saturday with play offs starting Saturday afternoon. SCP will advance to Top 32 play offs for the 4th year in a row at the WWBA 18U.

Per Braves' comment; half the fun at this level event is playing versus the best in the nation whatever they bring. The Panthers have faced teams that fly players in and teams that are much like us in playing with what you have. Bottom line the event draws great teams and players and that level makes you better.

Where else can you face pitching that is 10-15 deep with almost everyone going to the next level; defense that fields plus arms and abilities at every position and line ups that have big time hitters 1-9. There are a few teams every year that may be overmatched but few and far between and not likely back next year.

Exactly...if you can't get excited playing in this event, then you need to stop playing baseball.

Better Day for CBC Diamand Rats Yesterday

    A little better day yesterday...
Matt Walser pitched real well giving up no runs in 4.67 innings. Walked a few, but worked out of jams real well.
TJ Miller came in to close and threw extremely well to close out a 7-0 win.

Bats came alive a little better...

Brent George (Myers Park 2010) 2/3
Tyler Smith (Marvin Ridge 2010) 2/3
Brad Zebedis (South Point 2010) 1/2 Double & HBP
Alex Baker (Ardrey Kell 2010) 1/2 & BB
