SCP bite the dust 7-5 against the Atlanta Blue Jays eliminating them from a chance to advance to the chmp round. Very strange game, but an "L" none the less.

I am rooting hard for Partin and his boys but after watching the East Cobb Astros and EC braves, they have their work cut out for them.

The Astros are so loaded that the only coaches who thought it was worth their time to watch their games today was GA, Gtech (coach hall himself), Clemson, The new Coach Holbrook of USC, and Coach Fox in person for UNC. A coach who is at a D1 in NC school that made a regional this year told me watching them was a waste of time because he had no shot.

Except for a biblical amount of rain over four days it was as good a display of talent as I have ever seen in one place.

    Go Dirtbags!

    Akadema FL Raiders 8 Megastars 17's 3

Absolutely heartbreaking loss. Megastars, the home team, scores two in the bottom of the 6th to go up 3-1. Tyler Woods pitched a gem of a game through the first six innings and is lifted after he walkes the first batter in the top of the 7th. Then the wheels completely fell off. The Raiders go on to score 7 in the inning after at least 3-4 errors and 3-4 walks. Final 8-3. Had we held on, we would have advanced!

14 pitchers available to pitch? I can't imagine trying to get those kids a few innings. He's got enough pitching for two teams. Hopefully those boys can get in the game.
