    Congratulations to Piedmont Storm 16U for taking home 1st Place in the NSA tournament this past weekend in Statesville. A GREAT bunch of girls and coaches!!! It was a great weekend for both Piedmont Storm teams in the 16U this past weekend.

    Thanks...keeping with the Storm theme they played there guts out and "refused to lose" They have come a long way, and I've never been more proud to be their coach.

    congrats...

    You are right, your team refused to lose! My daughter was the 1st baseman on the Carolina Blues team you played in the championship game.
    Seemed everytime we got a lead, you would get it right back. Hard fought game on both sides; took 2 tiebrakes to finally decide it on a walkoff single! Great game and your girls were very gracious winners..you should be proud!
