pinecrest 3 - ROSE 2

the season ends for the RAMPANTS, a down year many would say.

ROSE leads off the 7th with a double. advances the guy to third on an awesome bunt, guy at first is safe also. next batter....chopper to short and he comes home, catcher blocks plate but i think the runner gets past him and he is tagged on the butt, after he has touched home. shoulda tied up the game at 3 w/ no outs, runners on first and second. but not so. it was definatly a close play but i think he was safe. but i guess i am biased.

ROSE hit pinecrest ace pretty hard gettin 9 hits (PC got only 6, not that it matters). they had 2 homers, a solo and a two run shot. their only runs of the game obviously. they got it done but i say there was controversy with that play at the plate.

i will have to raise the flag....


congrats to the RAMPANTS on a year when not much was expected. and good luck to PC the rest of the way.
