    This should be a huge game tonight at 5pm. Two UNC commits will be facing off and should draw plenty of professional scouts.

    Pinecrest scores in the bottom of the 7th on a bases loaded single to take a 5-4 win.

    Dylan Maples attends Pinecrest, correct? I haven't seen his name on the board yet this year. Is he getting any looks from any one significant?

    He committed to UNC, but I don't think he has signed yet. Also getting strong looks from MLB!

    Nice game summary write up and box score at www.impactbaseball.com but it requires membership to view.

    Heavily attended game...800 fans and 40 pro scouts story says. Pro prospect pitchers Griffin and Maples were throwing in the 90's but both gave up HRs (George Carter for FCD and Joey Vecchione for Pinecrest). Score was tied 4-4 in the bottom of the 7th inning with two outs and the bases loaded...Patrick Moore lined a single up the middle to make Pinecrest walkoff winners.
